The previous owners if "Stick of Lostwithiel" ran for 44 years and have moved to a bungalow nearby and are currently enjoying their well-deserved retirement. They was a renowned shoe leather repairer and walking stick specialist.
Their shop was an Aladdins Cave (much like it is now!) full of goods all relating to leather or wood in some way. Coming into his shop was like stepping back in time, entering another era. He indulged his passion for shoes in his ‘shoe museum’ at the front of the shop. And we soon learned that they were mostly known around town as Mr and Mrs Stick.
